You must take out insurance on the day you purchase your trip, therefore before the cancellation fees billing date. If you have to cancel your trip without having taken out insurance, part of the price of the cancelled services (or even all of it) will remain at your expense.

In case of a claim, it's an amount that will remain at your expense. You can find the deductibles for each guarantee in the "Table of Guarantees" present in our general conditions.
If you are a member of the "Tranquilité Credit Card" contract, you must first file a claim, as soon as you become aware of the event triggering the guarantee, with your credit card's insurer before making any declaration involving this contract.
You must declare your claim within 5 working days and inform your travel advisor.

After taking out a contract, you will receive an email along with your subscription confirmation, including your contract number and your general and specific terms and conditions.
24 hours before your departure, you will receive an SMS containing your contract number and the number to call in case of a medical emergency.

In case of a medical problem at your place of stay, MUTUAIDE ASSISTANCE doctors will liaise with the medical team caring for you to gather all information regarding your injury/illness. Based on medical requirements, MUTUAIDE ASSISTANCE will then decide on your repatriation and handle all organization and related costs.
We will reimburse you pro-rata for the already paid and unused stay expenses (transportation not included) starting from the night following the event leading to medical repatriation.
